Today's efficient underfloor heating and cooling systems need a proper control system that is energy-saving and provides thermal comfort to the user.
The inertia of a cooling floor heating system improves thermal comfort, but can also be a disadvantage due to a high response time.
To ensure optimal operation, any underfloor heating and cooling system must therefore be accompanied by an effective control solution, allowing the power to be adjusted as quickly as possible according to temperature variations.
The control system consists of three main elements:
One or several controllers.
Thermostats installed in every zone or room.
Electrothermal heads that regulate the circulation in each circuit.
Since 1921, Comap has been driving intelligent management of water and energy through its thermal and sanitary products that increase comfort in buildings. It is part of the stocklisted company Aalberts NV, instituted in 1975. Along with Flamco, which produces high-quality components for use in HVAC systems since 1956, the Aalberts hydronic flow control business unit was constituted. Stronger together, Comap and Flamco will continue to build mission critical technologies to manage heating and cooling humanly with better financial and environmental efficacy. From source to emitter we partner with our customers to engineer seamless energy efficient hydronic systems for their building requirements.
