Comap offers a range of MultiSkin2 multilayer pipes with high temperature and pressure resistance thanks to their aluminium core.
A range of multilayer pipe from 16 to 63 mm in diameter.
The tube consists of five layers of material: Internal PERT / Adhesive / Aluminium / Adhesive / External PERT for the MultiSkin PERT/AL2 pipe.
Butt welding of the aluminium core ensures consistent thickness and maximum oxygen sealing over the entire length of the pipe.
Thickness of the aluminium layer suited to good pipe strength: 0.2 mm for a diameter of 16 mm.
Pipes are available in several configurations: bare, in conduit, insulated (6 or 9 mm thick) and paired.
Performance
Multilayer pipe offers great working comfort: easy to transport and easy to install, featuring manual bending and quick cutting.
Multilayer pipes require on average half as many fittings as metal pipes.
With its standard aluminium thickness, MultiSkin2 pipe is comfortable to work with.
Safety
Lightweight and convenient to carry in individual cartons of 100 m, the multilayer pipe limits difficult working conditions and risks related to heavy loads.
Significantly lower risk of theft on work sites compared to copper pipe.

Since 1921, Comap has been driving intelligent management of water and energy through its thermal and sanitary products that increase comfort in buildings. It is part of the stocklisted company Aalberts NV, instituted in 1975. Along with Flamco, which produces high-quality components for use in HVAC systems since 1956, the Aalberts hydronic flow control business unit was constituted. Stronger together, Comap and Flamco will continue to build mission critical technologies to manage heating and cooling humanly with better financial and environmental efficacy. From source to emitter we partner with our customers to engineer seamless energy efficient hydronic systems for their building requirements.
